Capt. Rob Fordyce has been a professional fishing guide, television host, producer, tournament competitor and athlete for the last 35 years. Growing up as a south Florida native, he was introduced to the outdoors at a very young age. Considered a master guide at fly fishing giant tarpon over 4 decades, Rob has competed in 70 of the biggest fly tarpon tournaments in the world, placing in the top 3 over 50 times, making him the most decorated guide in the sport’s history.

Rob now spends much of his time hosting and producing his latest television show, “The Seahunter.” The Seahunter show is entering its eighth season on the Outdoor Channel and World Fishing Network. Besides fishing, Rob is also an avid bowhunter and spends much of his time off the water and in the woods chasing big game. One of the closest things to Rob’s heart is giving back to our nation’s Veterans. He spends several weeks a year teaching Vets to fly fish and he works closely with Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing. This organization uses the art of fly fishing to heal those who have  been scarred by the winds of war.
